About Inspire Medical

What Inspire Medical is

Inspire Medical provides expert-led training for non-regulated adult social care staff in England, supported through the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). It operates as part of BK HUB Ventures, delivering structured training aligned with industry needs, ranging from beginner Level 2 courses to advanced Level 5 health and social care qualifications.

Through funded access and industry-focused development pathways, Inspire Medical supports learners in gaining essential knowledge for adult social care roles. The focus remains on strengthening workforce capability, improving care standards, and enabling career progression within the sector.

Origins

How it was started

Inspire Medical is one of the initiatives under BK Hub, created to support the growing need for accessible training in England’s adult social care sector. It provides expert-led learning for non-regulated care staff and helps employers improve and upskill their workforce through practical training. This helps staff perform better, grow in their roles, and build clear career pathways. It also reflects wider sector challenges, as government data shows that 71% of adult social care providers faced recruitment difficulties in 2025, highlighting the need for a more skilled workforce.

The model is based on funded learning pathways that make training easier to access for care staff and employers. It focuses on improving skills through quality-assured training aligned with CQC standards and industry needs. As demand for care services continues to grow across England, Inspire Medical supports workforce development through simple, flexible learning that benefits both employees and employers.
